I'm Dee Iraca, a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and professionally trained Chef. I obtained a Culinary Nutrition degree from Johnson & Wales University and completed a dietetic internship at Meredith College. Now I'm a practicing Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in North Carolina.
I've worked in a variety of settings including a nutrition private practice where I helped people improve their health using motivation techniques, education where I taught culinary and nutrition classes at Johnson & Wales University and the Art Institute, and the restaurant industry where I learned the tricks of the trade. I've even cooked for the U.S. Ski Team at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics where I created healthy, delicious food that helped fuel the athletes for optimal performance.

I'm the Founder of Eat Well Chef where I began my culinary journey making healthy, prepared meals. I have experience in catering, private chef work, wellness retreats, teaching, and nutrition counseling. Each of these opportunities has given me the tools necessary to create cooking classes that will teach and inspire you to cook healthy, delicious food.
Breast Cancer Survivor
In late 2020, I was diagnosed with breast cancer which put my whole life in perspective. Now, I'm a proud survivor with a passion for helping people live their healthiest and best lives to combat breast cancer and other chronic diseases.

I'm a regular presenter with theYoung Survivors in Action Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition where I teach nutrition classes and healthy cooking techniques. I'm also a cooking class instructor for theYes2Health program that supports anyone with risk for breast cancer, other cancers, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes or pre-diabetes. In addition I provide complimentary nutrition services to those undergoing breast cancer treatment.
